Remembering - Professor J. Francis Reintjes, 65 years at M.I.T.

LIDS was notified that an esteemed former director and colleague, Professor J. Francis Reintjes passed away on the 21st of February. Professor Reintjes was one of the directors of the Electronic Systems Laboratory which became LIDS. During his tenure he spearheaded many initiatives leaving lasting legacy. More recently he worked on an archival project summarizing the most important elements of LIDS research during his directorship for the MIT Archives.
