Alan Willsky, SB, PhD, is the director of LIDS and the Edwin Sibley Webster Professor of Electrical Engineering at MIT. His research includes the development and application of advanced methods of estimation and inference, statistical signal and image processing, graphical models, machine learning, and sensor networks.
Pablo Parrilo, BS, PhD, is co-associate director of LIDS and a professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT. His research interests include optimization methods for engineering applications, control and identification of uncertain complex systems, robustness analysis and synthesis, and the development and application of computational tools based on convex optimization and algorithmic algebra to practically relevant engineering problems.
John Tsitsiklis, BS, MS, PhD, is co-associate director of LIDS and the Clarence J Lebel Professor of Electrical Engineering at MIT. His research interests are in the fields of systems, optimization, control, and operations research.
