30th Annual Sanjoy K. Mitter LIDS Student Conference

The 30^th Annual Sanjoy K. Mitter LIDS Student Conference will be held on January 30 and 31.

Events like these allow us to foster the tight knit, intellectually strong LIDS community. We hope to see you all (faculty, postdocs, and students) there. Please register your attendance here.

To celebrate 30 years and the renaming of the conference in honor of Prof. Mitter, this year’s conference will feature several new events including:

• A social hour/reception with drinks and hors d’oeuvres on the 30^th
• An expert session on the 30^th (details coming soon!)
• A special conversation with LIDS director Sertac Karaman on the 31^st

This is in addition to the usual events:

• Student research talks on both days
• Plenary talks on both days
• Lunch, snack breaks, and time to connect with researchers from around MIT on both days
• A conference dinner on the 31^st
