LIDS is pleased to announce that Senior Research Scientist Marija Ilic has been elected an IFAC Fellow. The selection, made by the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC), goes to persons who have made outstanding and extraordinary contributions in their role as Engineer/Scientist, Technical Leader, or Educator.
Dr. Ilic was elected “for contributions to hierarchical modeling and control in electric power systems and for open access modeling and control of the changing electric energy systems, including power trains for hybrid aircraft.”
