Vincent Blondel, a frequent visitor to LIDS has been named Rector of Universite Catholique de Louvain - this is the highest position in one of the very important universities in Europe. This is a very prestigious position, and we at LIDS should be very happy for Vincent and proud to have one of our very important collaborators and friends as the holder of this position. Congratulations, Vincent!
